Tis' the Season to be Merry...

Phew, Christmas is here again. The season of giving and receiving, and my favourite holiday (not least cuz its' CHRIS-tmas)... Ok that was lame...

Seriously, Christmas is the season named after Christ, and usually, its the time of the year that brings a smile to my face (excluding the two years in NS when I totally felt no X'mas spirit!)

This year was a good year. Last nite, i had dinner at my cousin Ig's place. Ok, it was stranger than most years, cuz my 18yr-old cuz Ann-Marie brought her boyfriend, Linus, and my cousin Ig brought his GF, Michelle, whom i've met once before and is really, really nice.

Well, all that was missing was Stephanie (my bro's GF) and Jamie, but there's always next year... Woah, u know ur getting old when all ur cousin's start getting attached!

But, all in all, it was a great time, though the BBQ food left me with a massive sore-throat!

After midnite, I went to meet the Lgs, who had been watching the Man U match at ECP. Well, i was late, so i just went with them to 85 market. It was a great time (actually, it was mainly Shujin who had a great time ribbing me and Ivan about our relationships. he kept asking us when he's going to be a godfather!!)

As usual, Ivan claims innocence- he says that when he's home alone with XY, they just play monopoly! (Yeah, i believe ya bro...)

Ben and Dewei were not able to make it (u are missed guys!)... But we still had fun, guess as u get older, its the friendships like these that u cherish. Can u believe it- i've known SJ and Fabian since i was Sec 1 and Ivan, since Sec 3!

Strangely though, cuz Ivan and SJ drove that day and couldn't drink, the four of us ended up drinking sugarcane juice! (The Lgs are getting non-alcoholic!)

Then today, it was my mum's Chinese birthday at my house, Steph and Aaron were here too, and we had pizza... Ok, you really know ur getting old when ur younger bro has had a GF for one year and counting! (Seriously, to me, Steph is like the younger sis i never had)

And guess what, at my aunt's house today, my cousin Ivan treated us to Pizza again! Oh my goodness, that's a lot of pizza in one day! Although now i'm old, my aunts dun give me Christmas presents or $ to buy stuff anymore, its still nice to be with family in x'mas day.

Yup, next is to the midnite mass with Jamie... And tomorrow, we will be spending our x'mas (cum 1yr 8mths anniversary) at Hotel Rendezvous. What a way to sign out the year huh?
