Why i hate fridays (and the quirky CS103 presentations)...

Today is yet another dreary friday. Seems like every friday i wake up with no motivation to go to school (end-of the week blues lah)...

Or maybe its having to sit through yet another CS816 lecture that makes me go zzz.

So today i skipped my 103 tutorial, which in recent weeks has been notable for its quirky presentations- see last week when one classmate (i shall not name names) started a very funny presentation on homosexuals rights... and every time he got emotional about the issue, he slammed his palm down on the table to emphasize his point.

This led my pal Janus to question if the guy himself was gay (that, plus that person's VERY metrosexual dress sense!)...

Anyway, i skipped 103 cuz our dear tutor tends to ramble on and on. Meaning that week 8's presentation carried on to week 9's and week 9's carried on to week 10's and so on...

What does this mean? This means that most weeks, we never finish the intended presentations and now, in the final week, we have THREE leftover presentations!

I know i'm whining but what can you do when your tutor ups- and- leaves to answer the phone in the middle of a presentation. Or how about blaming the 'carry-over effect' on the class starting late when she is the one who strolls in 10 minutes late with a cuppa starbucks in her hand? REALLY RESPONSIBLE.
