The Ice Queen

And the Angel fell to Earth, his wings broken and torn

The Ice Queen found him, blood and all, and took him.
Back, to her Palace of Eternal Cold.

He awoke.
And stared, into her glassy eyes.
And found, not a shred of soul.

And yet he longed, to melt that glacier heart.

He reached out for her.
Her minions, all cold and unforgiving, kept him at a distance.
He begged her, and found she resisted.

The Ice Queen, her Ice Sceptre rising.
Bewitched him.
Her arm flailing. Shattered him.

And still he longed, to melt that glacier heart.

He died.
