A very meaningful date in my life.

One year ago, it was. And today, it still is.

On this special day, something struck me- it's not how grandly you profess your love, but the simple gestures that matter.

As the memories fade from our minds, we may remember the few grand moments, but more likely it is that we will remember the many tiny, loving gestures.

And it's not that huge bouquet of flowers that says: I love you.

It could be the single stalk of rose that sums it up.

On this magical evening, with a simple meal at NYDC, followed by a mad dash around city hall for some last minute shopping, it perhaps meant more than all the many more romantic times we had shared.

And i once again remembered what attracted me so in the first place.
