A day at the Esplanade...

On the 8th of April, Dear and me spent a wonderful day at the Esplanade...We were there to watch the Annabel Chong story, in the form of a play- 251.

First, we spotted some wonderful line drawings. Being avid photographers *ahem*, we just had to stop and take pictures! The one below is my favourite...

And this is Dear's fave (it's the one in black)- as usual she said something cheem (erm, ok intellectual) abt the two ends of the picture resembling the light and dark side...

After that, it was dinner at Thai express...The food was ok, nothing spectacular... But Dear seemed to enjoy herself and her green curry soup.. Meanwhile, i was having a hard time eating my poorly wrapped "poh piah", with everything dropping out of it!

Below- the offending Thai "poh piah" (can't remember its actual name, i only remember that i had to eat the wrap separate from the filling!

And finally, Dear surprised me with her sweetest gift to me ever- a boxful of chocolates... She had remembered what i had said in Mark's and Spencer previously, that i wished i could have a different delectable chocolate for each day of my exam. Thoughtful Dear went to make a exam welfare package for me!

I love a girl who knows the way to a man's heart.

Yes, and not forgetting the play itself...some insider pics of the set...

Haha, we are turning into an arty-farty couple, upgrading from watching films to plays! The play was pretty good, and Dear joked that we were pretty open-minded to be able to watch an R21 play together...

Thanks Dear for that great Sunday!
