The Wonders of... IKEA!

Lately, i have begun to feel that my room needs some re-decorating.
Friends who come to my room always tell me that while it's a big and spacious room, it lacks character. Also, my dad keeps his clothes in a closet in MY room so i have precious little privacy.

With that in mind, i headed down to IKEA with Jamie.

The first thing that strikes u went u enter IKEA is the strong, bewitching aroma of... Wood... Then, as u walk through the throng of people that permeate the great furniture land that is IKEA, u find yourself mesmerized by the colourful, imaginative furniture that only the Swedish can build.

Somehow, there's something about walking through a furniture store, strolling hand-in-hand that allows a couple to really appreciate each other's company best. For hours, Jamie and me browsed thru endless shelves of furniture, lost in the attractive decor on display...but more importantly, lost in one another.

It was one of those magical dates where u feel totally immersed in your own little world, oblivious to the human chatter in the backdrop.

Ultimately, we didn't buy much.Just a couple of photo-frames and a pencil holder for $11.30. Yet, what i received was much more. In fact, it was priceless.
